Median prices end June with another bang

We exchanged three properties this week at Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point, Marquet Street & Rhodes. Check out the property, price & location details.

Just like that, the 2020-2021 financial year comes to a close. We’re entering our halfway mark of the year with a total of 76 sales, a 61% increase on the 47 properties we were tracking this time last year.

This week we exchanged three properties (217/19 Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point713/19 Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point and 1405/21 Marquet Street, Rhodes), with both Alora apartments on Baywater selling within four days of each other. Proving to be one of the most sought after buildings in Wentworth Point, we’ve sold more properties in this building than in any other in the area, with seven so far this year.

Wentworth Point’s median price has continued to document increases over June, rising for the sixth consecutive month to the highest median on record since February 2018. You can read more about the local market’s performance in our monthly June report.

The way in which real estate is now conducted has become unequivocally adaptable, and despite the reintroduction of temporary COVID restrictions last week, property values across Sydney rose 0.6% in the seven days to 28 June.

Know more about how the rising median is positively impacting the Wentworth Point market, and other insights in our exclusive June report.
