Future investment in our LGA

As a new financial year approaches, the City of Parramatta is inviting community feedback on its Draft Delivery Program (2022-26), and Operational Plan & Budget (2022/23).The papers detail key projects and activities to benefit from the Council’s $519 million budget, outlining ongoing, future investment that will benefit the entire local government area including Wentworth Point, over the next five years.

A snapshot for its planned expenditure over 2022/23 commits broadly across multiple areas such as green space and culture, community services and infrastructure. For every $100 spent by Council, $20 will be allocated to major works and construction; the same amount on parks and recreation; and $15 for every $100 on maintaining roads and footpaths.

You can provide a formal submission on where you’d most like to see Council funding spent, here.

A first home is always within reach, and this week we exchanged 224/68 River Road, Ermington to a first home buyer who saw new beginnings in the stylish and modern two bedroom apartment.

Let us introduce you to two new homes that just might feel like home: 320/14 Baywater Drive (2,2,2 in Messina), delivering brilliant north easterly light, breezy living spaces, and two side by side car spaces; and 306/5 Waterways Street (one bed + study in Broadwater) a versatile first home with oversized living, separate study alcove, affordable strata and central location.
