Location
Belfield is an inner-west suburb of Sydney. It is located 14 kilometres south-west of the CBD. The suburb lies partly in the local government area of the City of Canterbury and partly in the Municipality of Strathfield.
Getting there and getting around
Belfield can be accessed by a number of stations on the Bankstown Line of the Sydney Trains Network, including Belmore Railways Station and Campsie Railway Station. The Punchbowl Bus Company route 450 runs through Belfield as does the 415 route of the Sydney Buses Network.
Lifestyle and population
Belfield has a mixture of residential, commercial and light industrial areas. The main shopping strip is on Burwood Road and this has a number of restaurants and cafes. The area has a few parks and recreation areas including Rudd Park, Cooke Park and the Belfield Bowling and Recreation Club.
