Ashbury is an inner-west suburb of Sydney. It is located 10 kilometres south-west of the CBD, in the local government area of the City of Canterbury.
Getting there and getting around
There is no train station in the suburb of Ashbury itself but it is not far from two other train stations: Canterbury Station on the Bankstown Line and Ashfield Station on the Airport, Inner West and South Line of the Sydney Trains Network. A number of buses service the area including the 406, 413 and the 491 routes of the Sydney Buses network.
Lifestyle and population
Ashbury is a well-established, predominantly residential suburb. There are two schools in the area, a small shopping area and a number of parks. The most well known of these is Peace Park which has BBQ facilities, playground and is also a dog friendly park with off lead sections.
